Municipal formation

is a part of the territory of the Russian Federation, within the boundaries of which, along with the state administration, local self-government is exercised to solve only local issues. Local self-government is exercised directly and (or) through elective and other bodies of local self-government in order to resolve issues of local importance. On the territory of M.O. Power authority is divided between public authorities and local governments.
