Педология (от греч. pais, paidos - дитя и logos - учение, наука; буквально - наука о детях) - направление в психологии и педагогике, конца XIX - середины XX в. пытающееся обобщенно использовать психол., анатомо-физиологические, биологические и социологические подходы при обучении и воспитании детей. Термин предложен в 1893 американским психологом О.Хризманом для обозначения всестороннего исследования закономерностей возрастного развития.Pedology (from the Greek pais, paidos - child and logos - teaching, science, literally - the science of children) - a direction in psychology and pedagogy, the end of the XIX - the middle of the XX century, trying to generalize the use of psihhol., anatomical, physiological, biological and sociological approaches to the teaching and education of children.
