Ozone “holes”

considerable spaces in ozone atmospheric layer (ozonosphere) with noticeably lowered (up to 50 %) contents of ozone. O.h. are causing the heightening of ultraviolet radiation level having an ill effect on organisms. The anthropogenous genesis of O.h is supposed.
