“Hot spot” atmospheric pollution

Term “hot spot” pollution may be used to describe a short-term pollution of high concentrations to which the population may be exposed when it is located closely to the pollution sources. “Hot spot” atmospheric pollution includes urban streets with intensive traffic and industrial stacks situated in cities emitting into air the contaminating substances.
